Program details

This program aims to develop an understanding of specific recovery needs;

  • provide opportunities for individuals and community to have a voice in recovery
  • ensure a culturally appropriate understanding of the recovery process is utilised
  • provide culturally appropriate recovery information and referral to members of the Aboriginal community while also offering opportunity for community to inform future recovery planning.

This program will fund the employment of four Aboriginal Engagement Support Coordinators (AESCs) for up to 24 months in Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) and/or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs).

This grant program is offered through a targeted, competitive grant process.
