This program aims to develop an understanding of specific recovery needs;

• provide opportunities for individuals and community to have a voice in recovery
• ensure a culturally appropriate understanding of the recovery process is utilised
• provide culturally appropriate recovery information and referral to members of the Aboriginal community while also offering opportunity for community to inform future recovery planning.

This program will fund the employment of four Aboriginal Engagement Support Coordinators (AESCs) for up to 24 months in Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) and/or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs).

This grant program is offered through a targeted, competitive grant process.

The Applicant acknowledges and agrees that:

• The applicant must bear the costs of preparing and submitting this application and the NSW Reconstruction Authority does not accept any liability for such costs, whether or not this application is ultimately accepted or rejected; and
• The applicant has read the Funding Guidelines for the Program and has fully informed itself of the relevant program requirements.

By submitting this application form, the Applicant acknowledges and agrees that:

• If this grant application is successful, the relevant details of the grant will be made public for the purposes of complying with the publishing obligations under the Grants Administration Guide. However, information that is classified as personal information under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) will not be published; and
• In some circumstances, the RA may release information contained in this application form and other related information in accordance with the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (NSW) or otherwise as required or permitted by law.
